Applying to the PhD in Management
Positions are advertised on USI website when available.
Applications are considered only when a new position is open.
Apart from a few exceptional cases, all doctoral students in the PhD programme in management are employed as scientific assistants of one of the faculty members of the Institute of Management and Organisation.
Positions are fully funded for a maximum of 5 years.

The assessment of the application is based on a candidate’s:

curriculum vitae;

academic records;

statement of purpose;

up to three reference letters;

fit with the position.
Additional information (non mandatory) that could influence the assessment include:

international graduate admission tests scores (GMAT or GRE);

English certificates
-
other relevant documents (e.g. publications).
The Admission committee conducts one or more long distance interviews with the intent of gathering more information about the student’s qualifications and motivation.
